An athletic trainer will be present at the following varsity events:
An athletic trainer will be on-site (at LNHS) for most lower level events and accessible for emergencies and injury evaluations as needed.
An athletic trainer will travel with varsity football only and will attempt to travel with all other varsity sports for any post-season games as the schedule allows.
If your son/daughter is seen or treated by a physician for an injury or serious illness, they MUST bring the school athletic trainer a note from the physician before they can return to practice or play in a game. This is a Minnesota State High School League Rule (bylaw 107.02) designed for the student’s protection as well as to encourage appropriate communication between players, parents, coaches, and medical staff.
