Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA)

The purpose of the HOSA organization is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skills competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition, which is an integral part of Health Science Education program. This club's goals believe it's vital to each member are: to develop an understanding of current health care issues, environmental concerns,  survival needs of the the community, the nation and the world, to encourage involvement in local, state, and national health care and educational projects, to support Health Science Education instructional objectives, and to promote career opportunities in health care.

This club is for students interested in a health care occupation.  HOSA will have various health care professionals come in to discuss their occupation. HOSA will also have have a volunteer/service component.  This club has the opportunity to compete the local, state and national levels in various health science events.
