Students experience our court system through Mock Trial.  Participants pose as lawyers and witnesses. They present their case to a real judge in a real court room while competing against other teams.  To get experience with real-life court cases, participate in prestigious tournaments, and learn how attorneys build their cases, join Mock Trial!

Lakeville North Mock Trial is a team event for students in grades 8-12. The Minnesota State Bar Association sponsors events throughout the year. Real-life volunteer judges and attorneys judge trials, and the state competition takes place in some of Minnesota's prestigious courthouses.

Lakeville North is the defending South Suburban Conference Champion and was the State Champion in 2008 and 2009. In 2009, Lakeville North finished as the National Runner-Up.

The case is released in mid October. Invitational tournaments are held in December and early January. The MSBA runs the region and state season in late January through early March.
